Trip to Peru 11-May - 5-June 2015

Introduction

This is my second time to visit South America (after Brazil + Bolivia).  The idea sprouted in February when I found an attractive airfare offer by United Airlines.  Then I started planning my itinerary but had no concrete idea of how many days to be spent in each identified destination.

My flight route is as follow :

       Hong Kong - (14 hr) -> Newark [24 hr] - (8 hr) -> Lima

       Lima - (8 hr) -> Newark [4 hr] - (12 hr) -> Tokyo [4 hr] - (4.5 hr) -> Hong Kong

Even when I departed from Hong Kong, I still had an open plan, with only the return ticket to Lima, domestic flights to Arequipa and Cuzco, and hostel booking for the first 3 nights in Arequipa and Cuzco.

Peru's distinctive culture makes it seem like a total other world.  Out of my imagination, I could have visited many fascinated spots all over southern part of Peru in these 26 days.
