After getting down following the Valley of Rio del Frances, I crossed the river by a wooden bridge and headed toward Refugio Paine Grande
Another 5.5 km to go
It turned into a clear sky in seconds - Cordillera del Paine
Paved wooden walkway
Lago Skottsberg
Lovely flowers
Strong wind blew over the lake, even I was moved
I liked this view very much
Clear yellow sign to show the way
Cerro Paine Grande in sight
Destination came into sight (the far right side of the lake)
Fierce wind grew stronger that I needed to strike hard to move forward, a still picture could only be taken when the wind stopped a while
Finally arrived at Refugio Paine Grande
Lago Pehoe
The pier to take a boat out from this national park
I was really exhausted to hike with sore legs and hard fight against the strong wind. I stayed inside the kitchen hut for an hour or two and then took a nap in my tent when waiting for the shower time starting 5:30 p.m. It was really noisy staying in the tent as the wind kept striking the tent.
The refugio Paine Grande should be the nicest one throughout my trek. Details could be referred to Henry's blog -

Good to have hot supper served at the caferia, and nice chat with my team members. Here we met a Canadian joined a trekking tour at ~US$500 travel from west to east. I decided to take an early leave tomorrow and cut short my trek.
