It turned sunny in the afternoon. After a long morning walk in the sanctuary, I preferred to take a rest and enjoy a lazy afternoon.
After zooming in, I discovered that it was a mango tree (with abundant anount of mangoes). That's why mangoes here are cheap in price.
Kinds of hibiscus
A housewife next door was cooking fry fish
There was a church nearby and I could hear their hymn singing, though they are so unfamiliar to me.
Chicken stew - Maya style
Simple menu served by the Cottages
After rain, I found frogs hopping around
My favorite breakfast - pancakes with fresh mango slice
Depart on the next morning - A long stay at the Southern Hwy waiting for the Express Bus to Belize City. The regular bus arrived first but I was not sure whether it would get to Dingriga earlier than the express one. That's why I skipped that bus and kept on waiting. On the other hand, would the express bus not stop for me (as it only stops at main stations)? I puzzled. Julian, the host in the guest house, advised me to stay at the bump such that all vehicles would lower their speed and I got a higher chance to have it stopped for me. I kept on waving to those bus-like vehicles from a distance and got "refusesd". There was a car stopped and the driver asked if I would like hitchhiking. Well, my destination is Belize City which is about 2.5 hour drive, so I turned down the offer. Finally, I got on the Express bus after waiting for half an hour at the road side and got tanned.
