I took a taxi to the Bus Terminal from where all the buses go north would reach Belize Zoo .
Drive along the highway, there was a Trinity Church
I was nervous to miss the bus stop and asked the conductress to let me know where to stop but I jumped up when spotting a sign of the zoo. The were frightened by my sudden act.
Serving as a half-way house and rehabilitation centre for injured, orphaned and rescued Belizean jungle animals including jaguars, the Belize Zoo is a fabulous and friendly place to get a good look at 125 species of indigenous animals and birds that are difficult to spot in the wild. The zoo hosts myriad educational programs for kids and adults, including a festive birthday party for April the Tapir, the national animal of Belize.
After a short walk along the path, here comes the ticket office

The horn of the black one seemed infected
Tapir is the national animal of Belize. This one was difficult to capture by my cell phone as they liked to stay behind the bushes
