Arrived at the airport - Philip Goldson International Airport
A sunny day when I landed on this piece of land. It's a small airport serving both international and domestic flights.
Tourist Spot - the Fort George Area
The Fort George area, a peninsula ringed by Marine Parade Boulevard and Fort Street, is one of the most pleasant in Belize City. It's learnt from guide books that the places of interest are within walking distance and it would be safe to stay in this area. I chose to stay at The Great House Inn, the only colonial guest house, features 12 graceful rooms that are individually decorated, all with hardwood floors and furniture, ceiling fans and floral prints, and a spacious living room (a time for luxury).

The inn is opposite to Raddison, a large scale resort
After settling down, I strolled around to look for something to eat. Sights nearby
Chinese restaurant closed on Sundays
Museum of Belize, closed on Sunday -
Formerly the main jail of the country, the museum preserves one cell in its original state, complete with inmates' graffiti. There are other exhibits include historical photos and documents bear testimony to the colonial and independence eras, and the destruction wrought by hurricanes; a Maya Treasures section; and the country's postage stamps, etc.
Wow, a HK Bar, but the owner has no connection with HK
