There are quite a lot beautiful resorts here : Achachiua / Sangalle or known as "Oasis"

Tropical Lodge: The one we will spend the day has a swimming pool

 Here we could take rest, preparing for tomorrow trek

After lunch, I took a leisure walk around the area

Second day of Colca Trek 31 May 2015

We woke up with another fine day.  After breakfast, we continued our walk, with gentle up along the canyon.

See the white dots on the cactus?  There would likely be a beet dwelling

When squeezed, there is reddish juice the habitants draw marks on their face

After crossing this bridge, we began to climb up gently

Our final destination (for tomorrow) would be at the top

Reached a tuck shop and rest point

Red inside

Cactus fruit, a little bit like kiwi fruit in texture

They taste a little bit sour

Other fruits and this served as food supply

We passed through a few villages like Cosñirhua

 a local church at Malata

Here we reached our destination today
